“From quiet trails to fierce skies, from wild creatures to the pets we love — this is my journey through the beauty, power, and personality of the natural world.”

“The power and majesty of nature, the simplicity of a quiet landscape, or the endless variety of the animals and people around us, I share the wonder I find — as a photographer and a fellow traveler.”

For nearly two decades, I’ve traveled across the country and even around the world chasing the fleeting moments that make nature unforgettable — the split-second of a storm’s fury, the quiet grace of wildlife, the stillness of a landscape that makes the heart pause. Photography is my way of honoring those moments and sharing them with others. I’m always on a journey — to witness more of the world’s majesty, to keep refining my craft, and to offer images that bring wonder, reflection, or peace. It’s a pursuit that brings me true joy, and I’m grateful to share it with you.

FAQ

1. Can I commission a custom photoshoot or project?

I am absolutely open for commissioned shoots of any kind. I have shot all types of photography (portrait, event, action and everything in between). I do like to spend time researching a new area prior to shooting so if you do have something in mind, let's get some time on the calendar.

2. Do you offer photography tours or workshops?

If you are local to the Midwest, I am available on almost any weekend to do guided tours of some of my favorite photography spots both on and off the beaten path. If you are interested in somewhere else, let's talk, plan, and dream about how to make it a reality.

3. What equipment do you use for your photography?

I shoot primarily with a Nikon D750 and Sigma Art Lenses. I also create videos with a DJI Mini Pro 3.

4. What are your upcoming travel plans and destinations?

I am looking forward to some 2-day style trips to the locations like the Black Hills in SD, this fall I am already planning a trip to NE Iowa along the gorgeous Mississippi River Valley and the Effigy Mounds. Hopefully there will be a few more storm chasing trips with my meteorologist son. Other than that, my camera travels where I travel, so I never know where the next adventure will be.
